Hello,
Are you referring to the Windows login screen (with the default background and a white text box in the middle) or is this on the BIOS screen?
If its the Windows login screen, make sure you're entering into the password box, and not entering in the PIN box.
I recommend that your try clicking on the Ease of Access icon (bottom right corner of log on screen) then click on On-Screen Keyboard. You should be able to enter your password normally.
Make sure Caps lock / Num lock etc are not on, because this will result in an incorrect password.
