Admin password headache

Ok so been given 2 desktop and a laptop in the past 2 weeks. All with their own issues but one computer at a time
Laptop: main issue screen is shattered. Fine. fixed that by hooking into tv via hdmi
Next. Hit brick wall head first into a password now let me just say all 3 computers bel ok ng to as dead guy. I was given no ingo, no papers or disc just Computers. Been trying to get to where I can reset laptop problem there I cant se the screen to see what to Do all tho it is hooked to tv nothing appears on tv screen till admin password shows up I appreciate as my help

Hello, I found this answer, where they suggest removing the motherboard password for 10 minutes and then reinstalling it... it may help.
