No sound

Hello,
I have a compaq presario and i have built in speakers , I don"t have any sound and now my disc will not play help.

hi,

check if the sound has been muted.

note also the sound level.

go to control panel > sounds and audio devices to check the settings.

or i you need the audio driver, try this link to enter the computer reference and then download the driver.
