Hp pavilion tx2000 problem

Hello, i have a problem with my hp pavilion tx2000. When i try to turn it on a few lights turn on but just for a quick second (no keyboard buttons light up though) , but the screen stays off. I've had this laptop since 2008-2009 if that would help.
