Can’t type a proper chinese sentence on chat

Hello,

I can’t seems to type full Chinese sentences on Instagram chat. It was fine all the while untill this afternoon this error came. Im using pin yin keyboard on ios and my ios is updated. I can only type the first few letter and the rest of the sentence can’t be convert in to chinese, it just become pin yin instead. I’ve tried to restart my iphone a several time and re-install the app quite a few time. I tried my chinese keyboard on the other app and it’s fine. It seems to be only Instagram chat that is having this issue. I’ve reported this problem to instagram but no response from them. I’m hoping someone here can help me out
