Hello,
I was recently asked to update my whatsapp as the current version was no longer supported. I did the following steps: selected my Google Drive account, backup my data. The thing is, Im using a Android phone and a windows computer.
When I backed up data I did not use any USB cable to connect PC to phone as I thought that the data would be transferred thru the google account that I chose.
When I checked my(computer) Google Drive> app management I saw whatsapp messenger but beside it was a grey warning sign. Above was other apps that were alrdy "syncing" with my Google Drive. I'm unsure if my data is safely stored in the Google Drive. Thus I don't want to uninstall my current whatsapp unless I'm sure that all my data is in the Google Drive. I came across something bout auto syncing but I rlly don't understand what it means.
I need help from someone who managed to solve a similar problem such as mine :"( Pls give me the exact steps of the annoying back up process, data transfer, and restoring data process....im at the verge of just giving up on all my 13 years conversation data.....
