Hello,
So I have got this problem where whenever I press the Shift, Ctrl, or alt key my keyboard stops responding or starts malfunctioning. I have to restart my laptop to get the keyboard working again. I have reinstalled the keyboard drivers and even reinstalled windows but nothing has worked. Is this a hardware fault or a software one? Please help

Hello,
Have you tried searching on the website of the manufacturer of your laptop? There is a chance they have drivers available that could fix the problems.
It can also be hardware related of course, or perhaps there is too much dirt and dust behind the keys of your keyboard. Another possible solution could be the one we mention in this article.
Regards.
Bob
