Hi,
To configure the touchpad, open the Start menu and go to Settings > Devices.
Then select Touchpad and from there you can find the main and additional settings.

Under "Touchpad" in the Settings, do you see "Your PC has a precision touchpad"?
If you don't see this, try downloading from this page the touchpad driver recommended by the manufacturer to make sure you're using the best driver for your laptop.
Before installing the driver, search for Device Manager from the search bar in the taskbar and open it.
Select Mice and other pointing devices and right-click on the touchpad driver (Synaptics or Elan) then choose Uninstall and check also Delete the driver software for this device.
Once the driver is uninstalled, restart your laptop and install the driver that you downloaded from the Lenovo website.
