Whatsapp web calling question

Hello, using beta my 1 laptop shows the call icon, the other doesnt , any ideas ? thank you

i have included a pic with a red block where i see a call icon on my other laptop

Hi,

First of all, check if you're using the latest version of WhatsApp Desktop and you've at least Windows 10 (64-bit) version 1903 or newer.

Also, check if WhatsApp has permission to access the microphone and camera by going to Start Menu > Windows Settings > Privacy.

If everything is fine, try logging off from WhatsApp on both of your laptops and then login only on the laptop on which you don't have the call option.

Yes - the call feature only works with Windows 10 1903 and newer. You can try to update your laptop to Windows 10 if you need the feature on that laptop too.
