How can I fix WhatsApp Web not syncing messages?

Hello,
I have been encountering a troubling issue with WhatsApp Web recently. Conversations I have had with some of my contacts do not appear. These conversations appear on my android device though.
Anyone experiencing a similar issue?

Hi,
Try to unlink your computer from the WhatsApp app on your phone. Go to Settings or select the 3 vertical dots and choose Linked Devices.
Log off your computer and close the app. On your computer, close WhatsApp Web and clear your browser's cookies and cache. Then, open WhatsApp on your phone and relink your computer.
Also, ensure that WhatsApp is allowed to run in the background on your phone.
