Help w/ external Hard drive

Hello,

Just had an "element" USB portable Hard Disk delivered to my office. Its supposed to be a "plug & play" device, but I had no success downloading any files on it. In fact, the computor I want to connect it to doesn't even recognize it. The device came without a manual, so I'm up the tha proverbial creek, without a paddle! Somebody please help me.</gras>

hi,

try to plug the HDD in another port.

or check if the cable is not faulty.
