Laptop battery discharges when plugged in

Hello, the same problem happened to me (source), but a problem appeared to me when I open the games on the device while it was on the charger. The battery charge percentage decreases, but the problem is where do I change it? Do you have an idea about the financial cost? Did you change the piece? Did you encounter any other problems? pl202

Hi,

If your laptop is discharging when plugged in to the charger, it may be a sign of a faulty battery and need to be replaced. However, you must make sure the charger is not damaged itself - if you can continue to use your laptop even if the battery is fully discharged or removed, then the charger is working properly. Otherwise, it must be replaced.

As you've specified that the PL202 inductor is damaged, I invite you to contact Lenovo to explain them that you're encountering a charging problem after the damage of the component. They should provide you the assistance needed to fix your laptop.

Hello,

Hoping someone can help:

My ASUS A6403KM notebook does not power up. When I turn the power on the lights come on for quick second and then automatically shuts down. Ive tried taking the battery out and then turning on same thing happens. Ive also tried taking battery out and mains and pressing power button 3 times (as per ASUS support center advice) and replugging in mains power and still same problem. ASUS service centre suggested montherboard needs complete removal (he is 99% sure did not open the laptop or anything! - very pricy this option). Im hoping someone can offer some alternative advice on what they believe the cause is or how I can reticify the...

Computer turns on but no display

Hello

Having a bit of a problem with my pc. Basically, my computer turns on but there is no display on the monitor. I fixed this by replacing the CMOS battery and this went good for like 2 months or so. The problem started when it happened again so I again replaced the battery. This fix only lasted like 2 weeks and now it's happened again. What I do at the moment to access my computer is take out the CMOS for like 5 mins and put it again. This seems to fix the problem but after a day the problem shows up again. I'm getting sick of doing this process every single day so I would like to know what is happening with my pc. Do you guys think this is due to a faulty mobo? Any help w...

Constant Orange/Green Flashing Battery Light

Hello,
I have a Dell Latitude D510 laptop and the battery light is flashing orange and green constantly. About a month ago I purchased a new cable to recharge the battery and the problem went away. However it is back again now and when I unplug the charger or replug it the orange light goes for about 5 seconds only. When I press the button located near the battery 3 of the 5 green lights flash 3 times then go out (2 in between remain off i.e. 1=on, 2=off, 3=on, 4=off, 5=on). Do you think I need to purchase a new battery?
