Instagram reel duration of still photo

I want to make reels from still photos and there is supposed to be an icon that looks like a stopwatch, which one uses to set the duration. On my iPhone's Instagram app, when I add a still photo, I see no icon or other method for increasing the duration beyond five seconds. Am I missing something?

Hi,

It seems that you can set the time duration before starting recording your reel by selecting the camera icon. As it's a still photo in your case, I guess you may increase the duration of your reel by adding that same photo multiple times.
