Light on hard drive and cd rom are flashing

Hello,
i have an Acer asspire desktop computer, when i turn it on the hard driver and the cd rom lights flash at the same time, I get nothing, no pic on the monitor and i can't access the bios or safe mode
i have done all the test with the mem, cpu, modem, and there is not a sound.
Any suggestions please

hi,

it may be due to a motherboard problem.

if you have tested all the components of the computer, and if they work fine, this confirms that the problem is with the motherboard.

get it replaced.
