Can you get a ps3 online connection no com.

Hi,im 11 yrs. old and i love playing games online and i have a playstation 3(ps3) at my dads house only but the problem is there is no computer at my dads house and i want to know if there is any possible way of getting a online connection at his house...i have a computer at my house but my dad wont let me bring my ps3 over because it was 600$...also is there something like a labtop router only instead of a labtop i want o know if there is a router for the ps3 that i can use to get a connection???
