The laptop came with The Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator installed with an icon on the desktop.
You needed to use this option to make the recovery disks when the laptop was NEW - well before you need them. It you did not make the backup disks then you have BIG problems since Toshiba did not supply them.
You may need to ship the laptop to a Toshiba Repair Center.
