Problem with ipod

Hello,
i have 196 songs in my i pod, but only 3 sons was played in my ipod, how can i solve this problem? please tell me the how can i rectify this problem,

Dear Sir,

I will advise you to format the ipod and please use itunes to transfer your music,

You will need to create a new song library on the itunes
