Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help?
I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 and it would not boot up the other day - I guess it couldn't see the hard drive for some reason.
The recovery disk is for XP, yet the laptop was supplied with Vista. I was supposed to have made an 'image' to disk for the purpose of recovering Vista, but didn't!

Not only did I have to wipe the hard drive and have lost everything(!), I can now only use XP.

Is there anyway of returning it to Vista at all? I had got quite used to using it and liked the functionality.

Also, the internet now seems slower - particularly with loading ad banners etc.

Can anyone help please.

Thanks

hi there,

directly you cannot unless you had a recovery disk

for windows vista os, but you have it again unless you

purchase a vista installation dvd & serial key

Thanks
