Yahoo email account hacked

Hello,
Someone has hacked my yahoo account and is sending out emails to try to scam people out of their money from it. Additionally, when I send out and email, if the reciepient replies it goes not to me but to a western union money transfer account. Please advise as how to help correct this situation before any more damage is done. Yahoo, is taking way too long to respond.

umm... this happened to me.
(If you can still log on) maybe change your password into a more complicated one.
