Yahoo email account hacked

Hello,
Someone has hacked my yahoo account and is sending out emails to try to scam people out of their money from it. Additionally, when I send out and email, if the reciepient replies it goes not to me but to a western union money transfer account. Please advise as how to help correct this situation before any more damage is done. Yahoo, is taking way too long to respond.
