Folders removed without me knowing

Hello,
I wonder if you could help me - I had all my pictures and music saved into folders and then a couple of days ago they all vanished from my system - I have checked my deleted folder not there so was advised to do a system restore to a few days before when I def know were there - but nothing - I have done a complete search for the tiltes but not showing on system at all -
How could this happen as the folders were huge and cannot see how could be removed from system without me knowing

someone must have deleted them or moved to other location

use a recovery software and recover the missing files:

Hi thanks

I will try this - however to have deleted the files would have taken ages as took up half the system and not something I would do myself and no one else has access
