Ipod touch

Hello,
I tried to update to the 3.1 version on my iPod touch 2G, but when i click shift+restore and select my file a warning message pops up that says "this file is not compatible" what am I doing wrong?

Dear Cait,

This means that it doesn't support the file due to its format. You

should try converting it in the specific supported format if

possible. It will be advantageous if you could indicate which file

it is actually.
