Hidden files

Hello,

I have a folder in my E drive when my operatiin system is windows 7 ultimate in C drive then i give a command through DOS cammand to Hide the Folder of manoj which is in E drive then i have format the Drive c and Change the windos XP Instead of Windos 7. now we cant abble to find the hidden folder but the system show some data in the Drive but cant show any data. when we try to go thorugh DOS command the system says "access denied".

please helpme to come out from this problem

folder options
look for the option that says show hidden files and folders.
It's a solution for XP and Vista

If not applicable, try finding the settings for a folder.

Some things are solved at exploring, but think twice before changing anything.
