Hello,
I recently received an itouch and was able to up load my songs from my old ipod. I currently have a lap top and my computer is not working at all. It was an old computer ('98) and unfortunately crashed on me. I can't even get to i tunes. I was able ot get on itunes on my laptop but it does not recognize my new itouch playlist. I can transfer and manage my contacts and calandar but not my playlists. The clerk at the apple store advised me to upload a program other than something from apple. I'm not sure where to go to and Apple couldn't advise. Anyone have any suggestions.

Hmm you can try to update the firmware which is a better option here, or reset the firmware.
