It is equipped with Dell PC Restore. Have used that feature before and it works great. However I can't get past the previous message. Does anyone have an answer

I don't have a startup disc. The computer came with Dell PC Restore so I have no discs. How do I access repair console without disc. Will another XP Home Edition disc work or is there a trick to it. Thanks for your help

Yes, you should be able to use any Windows XP Home Edition disk.

Good Luck

I tried 3 different copies of XP Home with no success. The computer was upgraded to Windows Office Professional 2003, could that have anything to do with it. Can you think of any other way to get this computer past this error message. ANy help would be appreciated.
Thanks
