No sound on my laptop

Hello,
yesterday I was getting removing some programmes off my laptop, and ever since, I have not been able to hear any sound from my laptop. Maybe I removed something by accident. When I go onto sound and audio devices, under the volume tab, it says there is no audio device. And I cannot click on anything because it has been blanked out. What should I do?

Please have drivers installed. You should have the installation

cd and you don't have it, please indicate the laptop's model

so that we can help you about the matter.
