Dear Ava,
Please check whether there is no assigned functions on the keyboard that you are using. If it is so, please have it removed manually one by one. Also please provide which application you are using and experiencing this difficulty.

Thanks for your reply! Actually I have found the solution to the problem. I discovered that this mess up occurred during the time when Adobe reader was downloading the updates from net. As soon as I canceled updates permanently the keyboard mess up was eliminated. Still, I don't know exact mechanism/ reason. Nevertheless, i am thankful to you for your reply.
