Computer freezes

Hello,
my computer has frozen while i tried to install a webcam and it has came up with 3 solutions but when i try to click on them it wont let me what can i do other than reinstalling widows from the start.
can yo email me back as im using a friends pc to write this

Dear Sir,

This particular problem might be coming from the fact that the webcam driver is not compatible to the operating system that you are using. Please get it updated in order not to have the same problem. Yet check whether your RAM memory is not too low and if needs to be upgraded.
