Trouble scrolling up and down

Hello,
i have a toshiba laptop running windows xp, when i scroll up and down a page it jumps instead of running smoothly, any ideas?

Dear Sir,

If while scrolling it jumps it is actually being caused by the graphics card driver. Please check whether you do have it installed. If it is there, please get updated.
