Restoring ipod

before i used my ipod on a macbook, now im trying to use it on a windows.
it says restore in order to make it work.
how do i restore it but keep all my songs and movies?

You won't be able to restore the iPod without losing the files stored on it. Please consider restoring through the below instructions:
