Hello,
I was doing a recovery on my 1st gen itouch and the cable was disconnected from the computer. Now my itouch is stuck on the apple with the progress bar under it. I can't shut it down and my home button quit working several weeks ago. I have tried to reconnect to computer but computer doesn't recognize it and neither does itunes. Help can't afford a new one.
