How to connect internet without ip help

Hello,
hope u will be fine..one of my friend conetting to internet without any ip adress..i have win xp service pack2...so how can i connet to the internet with out ip adress...is it the dhcp conneting method or some thing else...plz help me how to do it...

Hi there,

You definitely need an ip for connection ,whether wired or wireless connection.
