my computer keeps freezing.Closed

Hello,
im having serious computer trouble where my computer freezes up and then has startup problems. it started when i was modding starwars jedi academy and the screen got blue lines all across the screen. it now starts but really slow and i cant access jedi academy without it freezing again... i did virus scans using norton but i couldnt find anything.... any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are many related reasons for freezing:

Software,driver,os,heat,hardware,hardware failure,please give more information.

the only reason it would heat up is if ur fan in the processor isnt working. id advise looking into your registry files and delteing them. i use a program called CCleaner

If all fails id look at how old ur pc/laptop is... you might wanna think of getting new parts to it (if its pc) or buying a new 1
