Linksys WEP works with Mac OS but not PC Closed

Question

I have a Linksys Wireless G Model WRT54G router and 90% of the time I'm a MacBook Pro with no problem. But when I try to use a Toshiba PC on the wireless network it gives me a "need 40 bit encryption" (or something like that) when I enter my WEP key. Why is this happening and how can I avoid this. 

Configuration: Mac OS X / Firefox 3.5.8

You will have to enter the exact WEP key to get connected to the wireless network!

I think that you made mistakes while entering the WEP key
