I was trying to reformat my PC with XP OS command using "format c:\" as someone told me but to no avail. I also tried using CD installer but it always led me to my present XP set up.

Can you please help me? I need to re-format my PC, thanks.

Hi there,

Boot system ,enter bios setting, change boot sequence making boot from cd/dvd on boot priority on first boot device, save and exit settings and follow on screen instructions for windows installation.

Thanks

I have tried it, putting my 1st boot on my DVD room but it does not read my installer and brought me back always to my existing XP set up. That's the very reason why I wanted it to be done through DOS command but still "format c:\" command does not execute the format I need.

Anyway thanks for your concern. :--))
