my laptop continue keeps w key pressed Closed

Hello Sir,
I am having sony viao laptop. there is problem with w key. sumtimes  w key automatically get pressed and whenever I open any application system keeps switching between application which start with W key and I cant work due to it. Please help me. I don't understand is it virus or keyboard problem?? 

Configuration: Windows XP / Safari 532.5

Hello Devi,

Yes, I have found an answer as for the cause. 

This is not a virus but a Hadware problem especially found on Sony laptops.  The problem resides with the pad and mouse.

The only solution remains in taking it in for repair.

Well that is kind of a clowny virus if it is a virus.

The only I can tell you if it is a virus is to examen a Hyjackthis log.

Download and install Hyjackthis 2.0.3 beta.

Request a scan and save a log.  Copy the log and paste it here.
