Prolem in SATA hard disk

Hi

i have 160gB SATA hard disk in my system and instaled for XP sp2..probelm is now boot the system its not shows Windows loding screen but its shows some junk letters...
its board side probelm orhard disk prolem
pls help me any one...

Dear madam

in most cases the problem lies with your SATA cable try to push them in on the motherboard and on a hard disk if that dont help replace the SATA cable and try to change the power cable from powersupply to if this wii
