Laptop toshiba shuts itself down

My laptop shuts down itself after about half an hour unfortnatley my disk drive drawer wont open to install anything .what can i do?

Dear Sam,

Please check whether the battery is not loose or whether there is a virus or trojan causing this particular trouble.

bought a new power supply and its working fine thanks folks problem solved
