Help... Connection trouble

how to make a Lan connection form a PC to a laptop? by the use of only one cable, that the other end of the cable connection is on the laptop and the other end is on the PC.... and by the way why anytime we try to connect the PC and laptop with 1 cable connection that directly connects to both PC and laptop is always unplugged and we can't play a multi-player game if we want to... because we cant connect to each other by the use of one line....

Hi there,

You need to use a cross cable in which the wires are not corrected in parallel,instructions are given on Faq:
