My yahoo email is sending spam

My yahoo account has been hacked into and sent spam to all of my contacts. I have already changed my password, do I need to cancel my yahoo altogether? If yes, how do I coordinate it so all of my email with transition to the new account?

Dear Sir,

There might have another person using the account or still it might be caused by a virus. You will have to contact the Yahoo Mail Service to confirm the matter.
