How to change my Standby mode to Shutdown mod

Hello,
I am using Vista Business. When i close my notebook it goes to Standby mode. I want to change it into Shutdoown mode. What i have to do for that. Please help

there is option for that in power management that you can find in control panel or click on power source icon on task bar. Look for power Options.
