Hello,
I am having a problem with my Acer AspireOne.
When I turned on my laptop, the screen stuck at the 'loading windows xp' forever.
I turn off and turn on again, I enter to the screen which allow me to choose the mode.
When I choose safe mode, it led me to a blank pitch black screen.
I had the same problem last time and I use Alt+F10 to solve but that one resulted in all my data gone.
Is there any way to recover my data before I reinstall the whole thing?
Thanks

I tried the alt F10, I entered into eRecovery Management, when it tried to Restore, after some time, a message saying Restore Failed (because of an I/O device error). When I use F8 to check on the reason to this start up failure, it prompted that the "windows\system32\config\system" is corrupted.
The notice says "Please try Completely Restore System to Factory Default instead". If I choose this one, does it mean I will lose my data forever? I do not have any CD installation, do we need to purchase this from Acer?
Thanks.
