My applications vanished after synced an ipod

Hello,
I just bought 8gb ipod touch and it was the first time i tried syncing it with my computer. Alls well though when I tried to open my downloaded games and facebook, it just blinks. All was left was its icons.. somebody pls help me???

Dear Sir,

It might have been deleted as soon as it got synchronized and you will have to get it downloaded and installed back.
