Ipod wont work plugged in!

Hello, My name is Madison, I have an iPod Touch, 8gb. I keep trying to turn it on and it goes to the apple then it turns back off. I plugged it in to my computer and it still won't work! Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Try plugging it in to a dock, mine used to do this all the time and freeze to.
