explorer.exe may corrupted.
Press these three key at a time(Alt+Ctrl+Del), task manager will open then go to file the click new task run, here type explorer then click enter. May the desktop will come.
if it is not working then during the time press F8 then go to last know good configuration. May help you.If not Repair the OS
