No sound on vista speakers!

Hello,
i havent had sound for a while from my vista i got speakers and they worked for a while but now they wont even work!!!!i can hear static thru them so i know theyre hooked up and everything but no sound!!!!the driver is already installed for it too.HELP!

download uniblue driver scanner
it will search for the update and will automatically restore it
