Hello,

This morning my Toshiba laptop was going to do an update for Windows 7. So I restarted the computer. It was running fine and eventually reached the prompt where it asks me for my password to log into windows. I was leaving for work so I flip the screen down and it went into sleeping mode. When I flipped back up later the prompt appeared for the brief second then the whole thing goen black screen on me.

I've tried to push and hold the power button for more than 10 seconds and it would not work. The laptop's power light and battery light are on but it just gives me no reaction at all when I try to start it when I push and hold the power button.

Would somebody know how to fix this? It would not even start so I can't really do anything about it software wise.

Would that work in my case? I don't know if it's a mechanical problem or if Windows 7 got interrupted because what I have done. Do you think it's possible that I have fried the motherboard or the CPU?
