No signal in monitor

Hello,
i am using my system for last 3 to 4 yrs..and now there is one error is displaying on screen while switch on...IE, " SIGNAL OUT OF RANGE" and telling that Hs:75k Vs:60hz....so i cant use system nowadays...i am using philips monitor . please give me a solution for this error.

Hit F8 during the boot sequence to start in "Safe Mode". Safe mode should use the default safe video adapter settings. Then go to control panel and change the Frequency to 60Hrz.
