Ipod touch

Hello,

when i plug in my ipod, it only sometimes syncs and sometimes charges in i hold it a certain way!!..i use dmy brothers ipod with my wire, and his worked fine....any suggestions

Please have it reset to factory settings to get free from the difficulty.
