no monitor display Solved/Closed

Question

Hello, pc was working fine in sons room unplugged it to plug into my monitor to format it and now im getting no display on monitor just says no display signal when i first turn on every thing lights up keybourd mouse but then goes pc stays running and all fans are working im running vista 



Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

I would first check the video card.  Often when we disconnect the monitor cable from a desktop we loosen the video cards connection to the motherboard.  You might remove the case completely remove the video card and reinstall it.

Hi, 

Remove the RAM from the slot and place it back properly or place it in another  

slot. 

If your using a video card, remove it---> clean it  and place it back properly.

thanks for help i managed to sort it it was a bad memory stick
