Hello,
I was recently installing a program on windows XP and the power to the house flickered which shut of the PC. Upon turning the PC back it put me at the windows XP login screen. (I only have one user account) I got the message that my login was corrupt, and eventually loaded. When it loaded I lost every single setting for every single program and is acting as if I just installed everything. I also lost everything on my desktop and under my documents. My windows xp profile was basically reset, is there any way I can retrieve the files lost under my documents/desktop?
